Art Portrait Connection

I love this little girl.

It is a magical thing when I create a piece I love that is also loved by others. It warms my heart. I feel especially connected with the human beings who buy and experience my art.

The title of this work is ‘I Am Me.’ In a world that tries very hard to make us not be full selves, it is important - scratch that - it is necessary that we remember, embrace, and stay grounded in who we are.

I like looking at this little girl and remembering my inner little girl. I like to remember that little girl’s dreams, her dislikes, and likes. I like looking at this little girl and relishing her strong sense of self and confidence. I think people like her for these reasons, too, as I have had a lot of requests for prints and greeting cards featuring her. I am delighted that you all love her as much as I do!
